
A Live Music Assembly For Your School
- An introduction to jazz music at the elementary and middle school levels
- Live performance of contemporary jazz songs
- Demonstration of jazz improvisation
- Verbal presentation of basic musical elements, including composer, conductor, tempo and rhythm
- Demonstration of how each instrument is played, and the role it plays in the jazz band
- Student participation - volunteers are invited to play with the band
- Question and answer period

Adventures in Jazz is a musical program that is fun, entertaining, and educational. Performed by talented and experienced jazz musicians, our show opens wide the doors of jazz music to young minds. For many, this will be their very first exposure to jazz music. We have performed for more than 15,000 students throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area. - Morning or afternoon performances
- 1 or 2 performances, depending on size of school
- Performances range from 45 to 60 minutes
- We provide all of our own musical instuments and amplifiers
- Also available for libraries, churches and youth groups, throughout the entire year
