This is a free event and geared
towards elementary and middle school kids but people of all ages are welcome.

The program will include live jazz music, talk about the instruments being played, and demonstrations of what jazz improvisation is all about.

This is a great opportunity for young children to learn about some basic elements of music.

The Hardbop Quintet will be out in "full force" for three dynamic sets of straight-ahead
hard bop jazz.

The trio will be performing some great compositions by such jazz greats as Joe Sample, Kenny Wheeler, Ivan Lins, Bud Powell and John Cotrane, to name a few.
